A community-inclusive dance performance project
This project is open to movers of any ages, ability, background. Seeking individuals curious to explore, brave enough to risk being vulnerable and committed to show up to weekly classes and show.
We will work with personal stories around belonging/not belonging in our skins, communities, planet...
Meet for roughly 8 weeks. Life gets busy so ask that dancers attend 6 rehearsals to be involved.

No where.
You know who you are
By knowing who you aren’t.

By knowing what it isn’t.
You know where you are heading
By understanding all that you have left behind.
You know how to surrender
In order to truly rise up.
You know how letting go
Opened your heart to the fullness it holds.
You know that in loneliness
You found the community of self.
And in your bravery to stand alone
You found that most call “home.”
You know that in your dying
You led you and your ancestors to life.
You braved the fires
When no one was watching.
Without pretense your scars glow
Bright like constellations
Which shine but cannot be shone.
